Abstract and Minimalist Art

Abstract and Minimalist Art

After years of trying to be able to create something new to my eyes, something really inspired me:
This painting is the one that set me on the path of the abstract. In March of 2005, I painted this in three exhausted days. In that time I had yearned to be to create something similar to abstract art; something different than the boring and methodical techniques. The title of this painting and another of my work speaks of the state of mind in which I found myself in the moment that I was painting. In some case, the title can reflect what I was thinking in that moment, or there may simply be some similarity between the title and the shape or form of the art.
